Whew the move! Robert and H.T. acted like Batman and Robin geting all our “stuff” into the storage area and the old desks out and that dead photo copier disposed of. Robert put all the furniture together..my desk had 67 parts! – its really unbelieveable how much work that man did in those 2 weeks. We love our new home. The editing suite next door can be quite loud but its not all the time. Drop by sometime.(photo on the way)

NPT Welcomes Nashville Shakespeare Festival to Its Creative Campus
New Tenant Makes for Five Arts Organizations Under One Roof

NASHVILLE, TN – October 30, 2007 – Nashville Public Television recently welcomed the Nashville Shakespeare Festival to its “creative campus” with a morning reception at the station’s offices at 161 Rains Ave. in Nashville. The addition of the Shakespeare Festival as a tenant places five different arts organizations under one roof: Nashville Public Television, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, Nashville Film Festival, Nashville Shakespeare Festival and the Mid-South Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Nashville Shakespeare Festival’s staff includes Executive Director Nancy VanReece, Artistic Director Denice Hicks, Operations Manager Robert Marigza and Education Director Claire Syler.
“We’re honored that Beth (Curley) invited us to be here,” says VanReece, who is also on the Board of Directors for Nashville Film Festival. “There are so many benefits to being in this location. There’s a creative energy here. With access to Studio A, we now have the ability to hold workshops and rehearsals in the same building as our offices. We are close to the Rep’s costume stock and props, which we often share. Plus, we’re a lot easier for people to find.”
